How to: Cook The Perfect Patty

James knows a thing or two about cooking our burgers to crispy perfection, so we thought it was time we shared our customer approved technique with you! Over to you, James
Okay, here’s what you’ll need:
2 Tbsp oil of your choice. We recommend Rapeseed or Olive Oil
A pinch of salt and pepper
Non-stick frying pan
Optional - oil brush
LEt’s do it!
Start by removing the patty from the packaging.
Spoon or brush 1 tbsp of the oil onto your frying pan on a medium-high heat
Wait until the oil is hot, then place the burger patty into the pan, making sure there is enough oil around the circumference of the patty- we like to use the oil brush for this, but a spatula will also do!
Top tip: Always make sure the oil is sizzling a little round the edges of the patty- this will cook it to crispy perfection!
Sprinkle some of that salt’n’pepper onto the sizzling patty! Mmmm...
Leaving it cooking for 3-4 minutes, being sure to keep the patty sizzling as you wait (you may need to scrape the oil against edge of the patty every now and then!)
Once the underside of the patty is looking all lovely and golden, add another tablespoon of oil to the pan and flip your patty over, making sure it gets in contact with that oil and making sure that the circumference of the patty is sizzling away nicely again.
Leave your patty for another 3-4 minutes, until the underside is also looking all tasty and golden
Time to serve it up!
