So how did this happen? Well this journey has been one huge whirlwind!
We made a whole range of plant based patties for Planet Organic in January 2018, just before our restaurant opened in Shoreditch. We launched our range under the name of Roots and Grains and things couldn’t have gone better! To the point that we didn’t have the manufacturing processes in place to make the volumes required! So we took the time to work in the background on the range whilst we set up our restaurants, developed our manufacturing processes in order to make plant based food as convenient as we had always hoped!
So what are these flavours?
Our initial range is made of 3 types of plant based patties and are totally different from the restaurant range. We have three flavours, the BBQ, Habanero and Shroom! These patties started life on our market stall in 2016 so they have alot of sentimental value to our team and we have worked on making them even more delicious for you to cook at home with friends and family.

With insanely natural ingredients, this delicious BBQ patty has an amazing mix of spices and boasts over 7g of plant based protein in each patty.
INGREDIENTS: Brown Rice, Black Beans, Black Pepper, Cumin, Chilli Powder, Smoked Paprika, Rosemary, Tomato Purée, Salt, Brown Rice Breadcrumbs (Organic), Rice Flour.
The combination of corn, jalapeños and spices makes for such a versatile patty. The softness is purposeful to ensure that the shallow frying creates a ‘fritter’ effect. It makes the perfect spicy breakfast sandwich or roll into balls for an ideal spaghetti meatball surprise.
INGREDIENTS: Sweetcorn, Jalapenos, Chilli Powder, Smoked Paprika, Salt, Rice Flour, Cornmeal, Baking Powder, Brown Rice Breadcrumbs (Organic).
Mushrooms are absolutely packed with amazing proteins, naturally derived and low in saturated fat. The combination of green lentils, mushrooms and thyme in this patty makes for an ideal brekkie, lunch or dinner.
