Our new Make at Home range is made up of 3 incredible flavours of plant based patties- the BBQ, Habanero and Shroom. These awesome new flavours are only available exclusively as a part of this range and are totally separate from our current restaurant offering. These 3 patties started life with us on our market stall back in 2016 and so have a lot of sentimental value to our team and we have been busy perfecting the recipes to make them even more delicious for you to now cook at home. We are so passionate about allowing everybody to access great plant based food everywhere, no matter your budget or lifestyle. We’re here to deliver nutritious, easy to cook at home convenience food for you, your family and friends!

We like to keep our ingredient lists refreshingly short and simple, using only ingredients that you would find in your own kitchen cupboard.
Keeping the ingredients short, simple and natural, this delicious BBQ patty has an amazing mix of spices and boasts over 7g of plant based protein in each patty. Why not try it in a burrito or as part of a buddha bowl? You heard it here first.
INGREDIENTS: Brown Rice, Black Beans, Black Pepper, Cumin, Chilli Powder, Smoked Paprika, Rosemary, Tomato Purée, Salt, Brown Rice Breadcrumbs (Organic), Rice Flour.
Mushrooms are absolutely packed with amazing proteins, naturally derived and low in saturated fat. The combination of green lentils, mushrooms and thyme in this patty makes it taste so indulgent and the perfect match for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We love it as part of a fry up or rolled into ‘shroom’ balls with spaghetti and pasta sauce!

The combination of corn, jalapeños and spices makes for such a versatile patty. The softness is purposeful to ensure that the shallow frying creates a ‘fritter’ effect. It’s the perfect main ingredient for a Mexican burger stack or have it for brekkie with avocado, coconut yoghurt and salsa. Quick, simple, spicy and delicious!

this journey has been one huge whirlwinD…
We initially made a whole range of plant based patties for Planet Organic back in January 2018, just before our restaurant opened in Shoreditch. We launched our range under the name of Roots & Grains and things couldn’t have gone better! To the point that we didn’t have the manufacturing processes in place to make the volumes required… so we took the time to work in the background on the range whilst we set up our restaurants and developed our manufacturing processes in order to make plant based food as convenient as we had always hoped! Now a little later down the line, we are so so proud to be able to share our Make at Home range with you all!

They are 100% vegan!
2. DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN ANY ALLERGENS?
We’re very proud to say that our Make at Home patties are made in a factory free from nuts, soy, dairy, gluten and alliums. It’s an important part of our mission that we keep our burgers accessible to as many people as possible!
3. WHAT IS INSIDE YOUR PATTIES?
We wanted to keep our patties as natural and simple as possible, that’s why we’ve only used a shortlist of really simple and wholesome ingredients that you would find in your own kitchen at home.

While you won't be able to find any of these patties on our current restaurant menu, the Make at Home recipes are all based on some of our original bestselling recipes that have featured on our menu over the past 3 years.
8. WHAT PROTEIN DO YOU USE?
We only use natural protein from the vegetables and pulses- no protein powder here!
9. WHICH BURGER HAS THE MOST PROTEIN?
The BBQ is our most protein packed burger, containing 7.32g of natural plant protein per patty. This is followed by our Shroom which contains 5.64g and finally our Habanero which contains 4.32g per patty.
10. CAN YOU FREEZE THEM?
We don't recommend that you freeze them- due to their high vegetable content freezing them can produce excess moisture and affect the texture of the patty!
11. WHAT OIL IS BEST FOR COOKING THE PATTIES?
We like to use rapeseed oil, but olive oil and coconut oil both work great too!
12. HOW LONG DO THEY LAST IN THE FRIDGE?
Our patties last up to 10 days chilled. Please be sure to check the best before date on the packaging for more info!
13. HOW MANY DO YOU GET IN A PACK?
Each of our lovely packs contain two patties.
